Tuesday marks day one of the 40th edition of Manitoba Ag Days, going on at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.

What started out as a one day weed fair, has grown into Canada's largest indoor farm show.

Media Coordinator Andrea Guthrie says it's always a good idea to come prepared.

“Definitely you want to visit the website ahead of time and pick out the things you want to see...as everyone knows it's a very social event so you'll run into people that you'll stop and talk to. If there's a speaker you need to get to, you need to be focused on where that speaker is located and what time. For some people it does take all three days of the show to get to see what they want to.”

Guthrie says they've expanded this year's show by about 20,000 square feet, bringing the total size of the show to about 12.5 acres, all under one roof.

Manitoba Ag Days runs Tuesday through Thursday at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.

Admission and parking is free.
