Most of the province's canola crop is now in the bin.

Manitoba Agriculture is pegging canola harvest progress at 95 per cent.

Angela Brackenreed, with the Canola Council of Canada, says the majority of the remaining crop is in the northwest region of Manitoba, although the odd swath is still remaining in the southwest.

She says for the most part, producers were happy with this year's crop.

"As far as quality goes, no issues there. From what I've heard though, any yields that were maybe a disappointment or less than targeted was due to excess moisture and other environmental pressures, largely hail."

Brackenreed notes that sclerotinia was high this year due to environmental conditions.
