Cartwright's Ponderosa Days takes place this weekend.


Coordinator Laurie Gemme says there will be several events throughout the weekend such as hay rides, pancake breakfast, mud bog, slo-pitch and golf tournaments, a parade and more.


Gemme says new this year for kids is a bike mud bog for children before the A.T.V. mud bog.


She says last year the kids really wanted to get dirty so they decided to give them an opportunity this year.


Gemme notes last year's festival attracted a lot of familiar faces which they hope to do again this year.
