Juan Diaz drilled his Northern Baseball League leading eighth home run of the season as the Winnipeg Goldeyes downed the Lake County Fielders 5-2. Josh Asanovich also went deep for the Goldeyes who have won three games in a row and improved to 15-10. Mark Holliman went seven innings allowing two runs on six hits and struck out seven. Winnipeg closer Phillip Roy pitched a perfect ninth and earned his fifth save of the season. The Goldeyes and Fielders will meet again tonight (1570 CKMW 7 p.m.) in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
