The Winnipeg Goldeyes gave up 15 hits and lost 11-4 to the Joliet JackHammers at Silver Cross Field. The Goldeyes took an early 2-0 lead as the first three hitters got on base. Wes Long and Price Kendall singled with Juan Diaz knocking home the first run on a double. Kevin West grounded out to short to plate the second Winnipeg run. Justin Justice added a two-run homer in the top of the 8th inning for the Goldeyes who will continue their 10-game road trip tonight (1570 CKMW 7:05 p.m.) when they meet the T-Bones in Kansas City.
