The Toronto Maple Leafs, who face the Colorado Avalanche tonight in Denver, have recalled forward Byron Froese from the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.

The 25-year-old Winkler native has 12 goals and five assists in 26 games with the Marlies.

Froese played 56 games with the Maple Leafs in 2015-2016 and recorded two goals and three assists.
