There were no injuries Thursday evening in a semi-truck fire involving several vehicles on the Load Line lot south of Winkler on Highway 32.

Winkler Fire Chief Richard Paetzold says the department received the call just before 8 p.m.

The wind driven blaze ended up involving an additional three semi tractors, and slightly damaging a fifth. The fire was brought under control quickly once on scene. Paetzold says the addition of a new water tanker this year to the Department's fleet has now made water supply less of an issue for rural calls such as this one.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
