Meghann Turner joined the morning show one day ahead of a fundraising concert at the Manitoba Opera House. Local group The Razberry Jam will be performing with The Sharpe Brothers and Charlie Howitt opening the show.

Turner talked about the unique experience of attending a show at the Manitou Opera House.

"It's just a gorgeous theater and we've got amazing sound. We always book amazing acts. I think it feels pretty incredible to be the act up on stage doing the performance, the energy is always fantastic live. I fully encourage everyone to come and check out the music. This is a great opportunity."

Along with the local music, there will be some local flavours to enjoy. Look out for options from Rendezvous Brewery and Wooden Gate Cider!

The concert is a fundraising for upkeep and maintenance of the concert hall. Turner commented on the importance of the Opera House.

"It's just such an important part to the community. The building is kind of like a cultural and arts hub. It has a gorgeous theatre-like stage. It's just a gorgeous place to have concerts, theatre, and a lot of other events that we put on."
