Manitoba Agriculture says that seeding is 99 per cent complete, however there is a small amount of planting that needs to be done in the western part of the province.

The weekly crop report notes that precipitation was limited in most parts of Manitoba over the past seven days, with the exception being western Manitoba. Most areas could use additional precipitation.

The report says crops have benefited from the warm temperatures, and good progress has been made on weed control operations.

Dairy producers have started first cut haying operations.
