Manitoba's winter cereal and pea harvest has pretty much wrapped up for the year.

In its weekly crop report, Manitoba Agriculture says the spring cereal harvest is continuing and canola is just getting started.

Spring wheat yields have been reported between 50 and 95 bushels per acre, while canola has been seeing 40 to 60 bushels per acre.

Some of the oat fields have been yielding up to 180 bushels per acre.

Haying operations are also coming to an end, as producers wrap up their second or third cuts.

Rain is still needed for the late season crops and pastures.
