Tuesday, February 13 marks the second annual Canada's Agriculture Day.

Events are taking place across the country in celebration of the occasion.

The goal is to showcase what's happening in the industry and create a closer connection with consumers about where their food comes from and the people who produce it.

A large celebration is planned for Ottawa with a number of guest speakers, including Federal Ag Minister Lawrence MacAulay, FCC President and CEO Michael Hoffort, and CFA President Ron Bonnett.
