There are now five candidates seeking the Conservative nomination in Emerson Constituency.

Ronn Smith, a producer in the R.M. of Rhineland, has thrown his hat in the ring.


He says renewable agra-energy, immigration, and infrastructure are key to Emerson riding.


Smith has served on the R.M. of Rhineland Council for 8 years and is a director for the Sunbelt Economic Development Group.


He joins Tammy Smook, Larry Tetrault, John Stephens, and Cliff Graydon, who are all trying to succeed Jack Penner as the MLA for Emerson.


The nomination meeting has been scheduled for November 21st in Altona.
