Acting Deputy Mayor Marvin Plett joined CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Host Chris Sumner Wednesday morning for the final Winkler In the Mayor's Chair of 2024.

The conversation included a welcome to newly elected Morden Mayor Nancy Penner.

"A big congratulations to Mayor Nancy Penner, and Councillors Brenda Klassen and Tracey Krause," said Plett. "We're looking forward to working with you as we build Southern Manitoba together."

Plett also took the opportunity to thank city staff for all they've accomplished in 2023, and reminded the community about the recently announced Headstart to a Home pilot project.

"This is the time of the year when we take time to thank people and reflect our past year," said Plett. "I just want to offer a huge thank you to our city staff, because they work so hard to make our community the shining beacon that it is."
