Credit Unions across western Canada will soon be operating under new computer systems.

One institution from each province has been chosen for the pilot program, including the Agassiz Credit Union in Morden.
C-E-O Ken Lofgren says they volunteered to be the Manitoba site because they would have full attention from the I-T department, which will benefit the staff.
Lofgren says the transition has been a bit of a shock for the staff because there is so much to learn.
They have a number of training sessions in place to help them.
Lofgren notes the new program is more user friend when trying to set up new service or function.
He says with the uncertainty of the financial world, they need a system that is open to change.
