A 16 year old male youth from Rosenort was involved in a quad accident this afternoon during the lunch hour.

Red River R.C.M.P. say the accident occurred just south of the community along River Road.

Few details are available at this time.

R.C.M.P. say the youth has been transported to hospital in Winnipeg.

There is no word yet on his status.
