Ron Bell is back for another term as president of the Association of Manitoba Municipalities.

The Mayor of Birtle is in by acclamation. 

 

The announcement was made in Winnipeg Tuesday afternoon at AMM's 8th annual convention, where hundreds of delegates are gathering. 

 

Bell was the Acting President of AMM in 2006. 

 

In an emotional speech, Bell thanked delegates for their support. 

 

He says the association made great strides in 2006 and expects more success in 2007.
