Mike Berney of Transcona was the only Manitoban to make the cut for the final two rounds of the Canadian Senior Men's Golf Championship in St. Thomas, Ontario. The reigning provincial champion fired a six-over par 78 and has a 36-hole total of 158. First round leader Paul Simson of Raleigh, North Carolina was even-par 72 yesterday and is at three-under par 141. Ken Warwick of Niakwa was 159 and missed the cut by one shot.  Don Jackson of Portage was 162, David Anderson of St. Charles was 163, Grant Foster of Niakwa was 164, Larry Poleschuk of Larters was 169 and Gary Brown of the Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club was 178. British Columbia captured the inter-provincial team title by 11 strokes over Alberta. Manitoba finished 31 shots back in a tie for eighth place with New Brunswick.
