The Morden Chamber of Commerce is taking advantage of what is being seen by some as a missed opportunity.

President David Wilkinson says they will be setting up a booth downtown during the Corn and Apple Festival displaying job opportunities, real estate and other community information.

He says it's the perfect chance to entice people to the community with tens of thousand of visitors passing through.

The chamber will also host a job fair in April with displays, sessions on topics like resume writing and bus tours of various businesses.

Wilkinson adds the chamber is looking forward to helping the town celebrate their 125th anniversary.

He says if any organization hosting events has any questions to feel free to contact Chamber Manager Cheryl Link.

Wilkinson says who better to ask after Link's years of experience successfully administering the Corn and Apple Festival.
