A small shop sustained minimal damage to its interior after a fire Sunday in Gnadenthal.
    
According to Plum Coulee Fire Chief, Tony Fehr, an electric appliance is suspected to have sparked the blaze. The Altona/Rhineland Emergency Services water tanker was called in to assist. 
    
Meantime, the Plum Coulee Fire Department was called to a car fire in Gnadenthal the day before, on Saturday. Fehr says the vehicle is a total loss.

Additionally, members of Altona/Rhineland Emergency Services responded to a small car fire southwest of Altona on Sunday. 

Fire Chief Greg Zimmerman says the flames were put out before crews arrived.
