RCMP have laid a charge in relation to a two-vehicle fatal collision which happened December 9th of last year about three kilometers south of Roland.
A 26-year-old woman from Reinfeld died in the collision.
A 62-year-old Winkler man has received a summons for Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Causing Death.
He is scheduled to appear in Morden Court June 27th.
According to the RCMP investigation at the time of the incident, a southbound pick-up truck, driven by the male, was in the process of passing two vehicles on PR 428 when it collided with a northbound vehicle being driven by the woman.
The female was pronounced deceased at the scene, with the male transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
