There were no serious injuries as a result of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of highways 14 and 75 on Saturday.

Reported to RCMP shortly before 6 p.m. that day, police say an SUV was heading east on PTH 14 when the driver proceeded into the intersection before it was safe to do so, colliding into the side of a southbound semi travelling on PTH 75. As a result, the semi hit the ditch and tipped over.

RCMP report, the driver of the SUV, a 29 year old from Winnipeg, and his four passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital as a precaution. The driver of the southbound semi, a 30-year-old man from Nova Scotia, was not injured.

Morris RCMP continue to investigate, with charges under the Highway Traffic Act pending.
