There is some uncertainty surrounding the location for the Conservative Nomination Meeting in Carman constituency.

The association executive had decided the meeting would be held in Sommerset on November 2nd.

However, that decision seems to have sparked some complaints.

Some party members feel the meeting should be held outside of MLA Denis Rocan's base of support and closer to where the majority of constituents reside, such as Carman.

Association President Paul Labossier says as a result of the complaints, the PC party has become involved.

He says a representative from the party phoned him to say that the nomination meeting will not be held in either Sommerset or Carman and that it will be held later in November.

Labossier says the association executive followed their constitution to the letter and did nothing wrong.

He says he's disappointed by the PC party's move to override their decision.
