Over the weekend, Morden residents received an email from the city, notifying them of a road closure on PTH 3, or Thornhill Street, scheduled for this week, reducing traffic to one lane for approximately 5-7 days.

Since then, the city has released a new statement saying the planned construction on Thornhill is being completed by Manitoba Infrastructure. They will be adjusting the manholes. Furthermore, repairs will be delayed until after Corn and Apple, due to the high volume of traffic.

The work is now scheduled to begin Monday, August 29th.
