Multiple candidates are expected in the upcoming leadership race to replace Gary Doer as leader of the Manitoba N.D.P.
That from Brandon East M.L.A. and party Executive Committee member Drew Caldwell.
Whoever is elected, Caldwell is looking for continuity from the new leader.
Caldwell has been contacted about running for the post.
In response to that he says his role is to highlight the candidates that do come forward to residents of Western Manitoba.
Caldwell notes party members unable to travel to Winnipeg will be able to take part in the October 17th leadership convention by voting at designated rural locations.
