It could have been much worse for a thirteen year old resident of Morden.

The youth, who was travelling on bicycle, received minor injuries following a collision with a motor vehicle in Morden just after 9:00 last night.

Morden Police Chief Brad Neduzak says the cyclist was travelling southbound on 19th Street, and either didn't stop at the stop sign at Thornhill Street, or didn't see a westbound vehicle on Thornhill.

Neduzak says the vehicle bumped the front of the bike throwing the youth onto the side of the road.

He doesn't anticipate any charges.

Neduzak says the driver did what they could to stop the vehicle in time.

The youth was treated and released from hospital yesterday.
