Eric Fehr added a Spengler Cup gold medal to his impressive hockey resume.

The 34-year-old Winkler product, who captured the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and won the American Hockey League's Calder Cup with the Hershey Bears in 2006, helped Canada reel off four straight wins over the holiday break and claim the Spengler Cup for the 16th time.

Zach Fucale made 26 saves as Team Canada defeated HC Ocelari Trinec 4-0 in the championship game on New Year's Eve day in Davos, Switzerland.

It was a Fehr family Christmas vacation in Switzerland as parents Helen & Frank along with younger brother Justin joined Eric, his wife Rachel and their children Elizabeth, Benjamin & Theodore in Davos. Unfortunately older brother Matt was unable to make the trip to Europe.

Clayton Dreger asked Eric Fehr, who joined Genève-Servette HC of the Swiss National Hockey League this season, how it felt to help Canada win the Spengler Cup
