The Winkler Flyers will host the Selkirk Steelers tonight as they look to move into a first place tie with their Addison Division rivals. The Flyers are 2-0 this season while the Steelers are two points ahead of them at 3-0.

 

The Flyers haven't played since Tuesdays 7-6 overtime win over the Winnipeg Blues. The Steelers beat the Swan Valley Stampeders 6-4 last night.

 

The Flyers offense has been in top form early on as they have scored 14 goals in their first two games and sport the leagues best powerplay rating at 35.7%. Flyers forward Chapen Leblond is also tied for the league lead in points with seven.

 

The Flyers will continue their run of divisional games tomorrow night when they host the Blues in the second game of their weekend homestand. Puck drop tonight for the Flyers and Steelers is 7:30pm at the Winkler Recreation Complex.
