The Winnipeg Goldeyes have officially been eliminated from the Northern Baseball League playoff race. The Goldeyes dropped a 7-0 decision to the Rockford RiverHawks and were then bounced from post-season contention when the Gary SouthShore RailCats and Joliet JackHammers both won last night. Winnipeg starter Jason Mackintosh went four and third innings. He gave up four runs on the nine hits and took the loss. Kyle Wright pitched a complete four-hitter to get the win for Rockford.
