The Winnipeg Goldeyes playoff hopes are slipping away. The Goldeyes dropped a pair of games to the Northern Baseball League leading Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at Canwest Park. The RedHawks rallied from an early 8-2 deficit  and downed Winnipeg 14-9 in nine innings in the opener. Goldeyes third baseman Vince Harrison drove in four runs. Fargo-Moorhead scored two runs in the top of the fifth and sixth innings and put the game away with three more in the seventh and beat Winnipeg 8-3 in the second game of the doubleheader. The RedHawks outhit the Goldeyes 13-4 in game two. The two teams meet again tonight (1570 CKMW 7 p.m.) at Canwest Park. Winnipeg is four games back of the Joliet JackHammers who hold down the fourth and final playoff spot. The Goldeyes have 10 games remaining.
