Winkler Fire Department responded to a grass fire late Friday afternoon in the Village of Reinfeld.

The fire happened at the intersection by Church Avenue and Reinfeld Street.The flames damaged a main telephone pedestal, which impacted phone and internet service within the village for a period of time.
