Winkler's Reece Hamm captured the Manitoba Junior Curling Tour's Cargill Training Centre Fall Classic this past weekend at the Morris Curling Club.

Hamm, along with third Zach McKeigan, second Tim Johnson and lead Graham Normand of the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, defeated reigning Provincial U18 champion Jordon McDonald 5-4 in the final.

Hamm had two wins and one loss in the round robin.

The Assiniboine Memorial foursome downed Luke Steski 10-1 in a tie-breaker to qualify for the playoffs.

Hamm then edged Thomas McGillivary 4-3 in the quarterfinals and outscored Jordon Johnson 7-6 in the semifinals.

Hamm, Jayden Rutter, McKeigan and Normand defeated Jace Freeman 7-2 in the final of the MJCT's Morris Spring Bonspiel. The bonspiel was schedule for earlier in the year but was postponed until August due to COVID-19.
