Christmas isn't all glad tidings and good cheer.

Joanne Klassen heads up Eden Health Care Service's Recovery of Hope program.

She says this time of year is often a stressful one.

She says the stress of regular life mounting throughout the fall season, shorter days, and then preparing for the holidays can be too much for some.

Klassen says one tip is to keep a sense of priority and then concentrate on that and let some of the other things go by the wayside.

She adds Christmas is often more stressful on women than men because women are still doing more of the domestic work.
