The annual Manitoba Elks Curling Funspiel took place at the Altona Curling Club January 19th to 21st. Elk Guy Mullen shared a few pictures with us from the event, and provided the below report on how the bonspiel went. Thanks

Guy!

“Teams came from across Manitoba to participate in the Manitoba Elks Curling Fun bonspiel in Altona.  The winning team surprised everyone being so young with their talent, obviously the Altona school curling program is paying off big time. The event started Friday with a meet and greet, and curling took place Saturday and Sunday. Saturday we had Terry's famous fish fry dinner followed by two terrific local bands . Controlled Chaos made up of 14 year old phenoms . Wow! Then the main act of R&B band Quadrivium that played music for the soul. Everyone attending was blown away with the Altona curling facilities, the town, the food, the music and most of all the hospitality. This event was planned by Rheina Schellenberg, and her committee of volunteers.”
