Carman Elementary was our next stop with I Love to Read Month! Daemon Parent, along with Friesens Corporation in Altona's Representative Ian McKinnon made their way to read to grade two students in Carman. Ian read the Friesens produced book, A Strange Bird: It's good to be a bit different, to the kids who loved following along with the art. Daemon read his childhood favourite book, The Hockey Sweater, which worked well with the outdoor loving, hockey fans in the combined classes. A big thank you to Carman Elementary for letting us come in and read to the kids. We take away as much as they do with the experience!
