Changes are coming to the way emergency responders are dispatched in South Central Manitoba.

Starting October 18th the Central R.H.A. will begin using the new medical transportation coordination centre in Brandon.

Central E.M.S. Director Larry Skoglund says the M.T.C. Centre will be better able to coordinate the R.H.A.'s ambulance resources.

Nothing changes for the public.

We will still dial 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.

Ir an ambulance is requested, the call will then be switched over to the centre in Brandon.
