Since its establishment in 2011, Thousand Oaks Gospel Camp has grown to become a beacon of faith and harmony, attracting groups from various regions including North and South Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Montana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ontario, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. The camp's ability to draw people from diverse backgrounds speaks to its appeal and the profound impact it has had on attendees. The camp's resurgence in popularity and attendance signifies its enduring significance in the community.

"I have come every year since it started, I will not miss it, this has brought me close to God when I wasn't a Christian, and I think they're just doing a very good job," said Lisa Fehr, an enthusiastic attendee of Thousand Oaks Gospel Camp.

The City of Winkler, plays a huge role in the camp's story, serving as its home.  Winkler provides the perfect backdrop for a festival that celebrates faith, music, and the shared journey of believers.

Thousand Oaks Gospel Camp provides a platform for musical performances through its heartfelt melodies, uplifting workshops, and communal gatherings, the event creates an environment for growth and unity.

"Last year we were on a smaller scale... and it went well except just smaller. This year we decided to make it the original type again. It's so good to see the amount of people that are here," said Jake Elias, an organizer and essential part of the group since its beginning.

As Thousand Oaks Gospel Camp continues to flourish, it remains a testament to the dedication of its organizers and the unwavering support of its attendees.
