The bicyclist injured in a collision last Wednesday in Winkler, remains in stable condition in hospital, according to an update sent out by the Winkler Police Service. 

The male cyclist was brought to Boundary Trails Health Centre with serious injuries after a vehicle travelling on 1st Street (Highway 32) collided with him as he crossed the street. The incident forced the temporary closure of the road between Cargill Road and Roblin Boulevard
    
In the update provided to PembinaValleyOnline on Monday morning, Winkler police say traffic collision investigators continue to investigate, adding a final decision on charges won't be made until that is complete. However, at this stage of the investigation, police say no charges are currently being considered against the driver of the vehicle.
