Third place in the National Hockey League's North Division is still up for grabs.

The Winnipeg Jets lost 3-1 to Vancouver Monday night and dropped their seventh consecutive game on home-ice.

Nils Hoglander scored twice for the Canucks and Thatcher Demko made 39 saves.

Bo Horvat had the other Vancouver goal.

Kyle Connor had the lone goal for the Jets who are one point ahead of fourth place Montreal. The Habs fell 4-3 in overtime to Edmonton but clinched a playoff spot thanks to the one point for the OT loss.

Winnipeg netminder Laurent Brossoit stopped 28 shots.

The Jets (28-23-3) and Canucks meet again tonight at Bell MTS Place.

Winnipeg will clinch third place with a win or an overtime or shootout loss.
