K.A.P. Taking Part In Pro Wheat Board Meeting

The National Farmers Union will hold a meeting entitled "Our Board - Our Business" Thursday in Saskatoon.

The event is being held to counter the federal government's pro marketing choice meeting being held the same day.

Keystone Agricultural Producers President David Rolfe will be speaking at the N.F.U. sponsored meeting.

He stresses the decision whether changes need to be made to the Canadian Wheat Board has not been made by Western Canadian farmers.

Rolfe adds the only way for the board's operation to be changed is through a Prairie wide plebicite.

Other speakers at the "Our Board - Our Business" event include Bob Friesen from the Canadian Federation of Agriculture, and Wayne Easter the Liberal's Agriculture Critic.
