Another year is just about in the books for the Winkler Aquatic Centre.

Head Lifeguard Rebecca Froese says although stats show the number of people coming to the centre was similar to last year it felt busier.


Froese says the new programs they implemented this year took awhile to get going but in the end people enjoyed them.


She says they had a few major incidents throughout the summer but the lifeguards handled them well.


The last day for swimming is Monday, September 4.
