Altona Minor Baseball and the Altona Bisons received some very exciting news this week... they have been shortlisted for an $85,000 grant from the Jays Care Foundation. If they were to receive the funding, it would go toward installing lights at Access Field in Altona.

And this is where you come in... to help with the final application process, a Light Up the Night rally Friday, January 26th at Access Field.

Organizer Curwin Friesen has the details on what’s happening and why.

That’s Curwin Friesen, one of the organizers behind Friday’s (January 26th) Light up the Night rally hosted by Altona Minor Baseball and the Junior Bisons.

Again, the rally is open to anyone who would like to support the group’s Jays Care Foundation application for an $85,000 grant to install lights at Access Field in Altona. The details? Meet at the Millennium Exhibition Centre Friday at 730pm, and be sure to wear something baseball related and bring a flashlight to help light up the night!
