The Winkler Lightning reeled off three straight wins this past weekend and captured the Tiger Hills U13 A Girls Minor Softball League Championship which was held in Pilot Mound and Crystal City, 

Winkler defeated Manitou 20-11 and the Altona Angels 15-6.

The Lightning, who finished the regular season schedule with a 6-3 record, beat the Winkler Thunder 7-4 in the championship game.
