Tuktoyaktuk is a bucket list location for Dave Koop, and he's currently on his way there.

Dave Koop made the decision to embark on a three and a half month canoe trip from his home near Flin Flon on Schist Lake all the way to Tuktoyaktuk. He even has 4-legged friend Taiga there for company.

Ronny Guenther and Winkler Fire Chief Richard Paetzold caught up with Dave when he was on day 70 in Fort Smith. Paetzold and Koop got to know each other when Paetzold lived in The Pas prior to moving to Winkler. Koop shares all about how he got in to canoeing, why he's on this adventure and what the toughest parts of the trip have been so far.
