Winkler residents heard from all 3 mayoral candidates at a public forum last night.

There were many issues brought up from affordable housing, to infrastructure, and recreational facilities.

Having strong relationships with Winkler's surrounding communities was also an issue.

Martin Harder stressed that Winkler needs better relationships with the Province, Federal government, and the surrounding communities to get the support and funding needed to maintain the city's growth.

Walter Siemens says he would plan for future development of recreational facilities as well as maintain and upgrade the city's infrastructure.

Dave Penner said he would hold the line on property tax increases for the next 4 years and focus on bringing in affordable housing.

Voters will decide who of these 3 men will be the next mayor on October 25th.
