Last week Mennonite Collegiate Institute (MCI) students and faculty came together to share their fall showcase online, in place of their usual in house fall concert due to the elevated covid restrictions.

Christina Banman - Director of Choral Music at the school ...shared as singers it's been an especially hard time under current guidelines, and so to allow all of the voices across the 4 grades of MCI to come together in song ....they had to get creative.

Students participated by recording and performing their parts of this next song from home - on their cellphones and laptops and then submitted, to be digitally brought together, in a song of hope... something we can all use a little more of!

This song talks about that things will be ok, and we will get through this, and there will be a day .....that all of this makes sense again .

This is the Mennonite Collegiate Institute student body performing the song "A secret for the mad"
