Minor injuries, but extensive vehicle damage in Highway 14 collision

Emergency crews, including RCMP and Winkler Fire Department, were called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 Thursday afternoon around 4 pm.

RCMP report an 83 year old Winkler man pulled out from the Coop Truck Stop/Gas Bar approach onto Highway 14 and struck another vehicle. Only minor injuries were reported, but both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

Charges are pending under the highway traffic act.
