Morden Police are investigating another incident related to the tearing down of Pride related decorations.

The department received a report Wednesday morning that sometime overnight, suspect(s) pulled down some Pride decorations the St. Paul’s United Church had put up. According to police, there are no suspects at this time, and no surveillance footage that might assist with the investigation, at this point. 

Chief Brad Neduzak indicated to PembinaValleyOnline, as with any investigation, they are hopeful someone with some kind of knowledge may come forward. 

Looking ahead to Saturday, and the Pembina Valley Pride Parade happening in the city, Neduzak noted police officers will be present, and involved in traffic control and monitoring the event. He added, as with any event, there will be officers that can be called, if necessary, for additional support.
