In the early hours of July 14, Morden Police were dispatched to multiple incidents, resulting in one arrest and an ongoing investigation.

According to a release from Morden Police Service, officers responded to a report of an alleged assault at a local establishment at 1:00 AM. Upon arrival, a 36-year-old male was arrested for an alleged assault. He was subsequently released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Morden Provincial Court in September.

Just five minutes later, at 1:05 AM, police were dispatched to a noise complaint at a residence. Upon arrival, officers found no one present at the home or in the yard. However, they observed a motorcycle with two males riding down the sidewalk. The motorcycle lost control as it passed the police, resulting in both males sustaining injuries.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the individuals to a local hospital. Police say they believe that both males were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
