Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba members in the Morden-Winkler constituency will be voting for their next Provincial election candidate Monday. Former Morden-Winkler MLA Cameron Friesen stepped down from the position in January of this year, resigning his seat, to run for the Conservative Party of Canada nomination in Portage-Lisgar, which was ultimately won by Branden Leslie in late April.

There are four candidates running for the nomination (listed in alphabetical order):

Carrie Hiebert

Josh Okello

Liz Reimer

Zahid Zehri

Party members who reside within Morden-Winkler constituency are eligible to vote, with ballots being cast at Pembina Threshermen’s Museum on Highway 3. Voting will occur between 4pm and 8pm, with results announced afterward.

The next provincial election is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd.
