The Rural Municipality of Morris has finally gained ownership of over one hundred acres of old Canadian National Railway Property through a long tax sale.

" We are finally able to manage and to control the weeds, and put the properties into the condition that allows them to be mowed and maintained regularly," said Reeve Ralph Groening.

The Municipality purchased the Land to ensure the area receives proper maintenance and to provide an increase in grain production.

Groening mentioned land in reasonable farming condition will be offered for purchase to area farmers.
